Ana Jasna Protega, 66 of Round Lake Beach, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on July 25, 1952 to the late Ivan and Janja (Supe) Ljubic in Sibenik, Croatia. Ana married Krste Protega, he preceded her in death on August 3, 2016.
Ana is survived by her daughters; Marijana (Timmy) Jensen, Kristina (Chuck) Lowney, and Suzana Protega, her grandchildren; Alyssa Fayman, Chuckie Lowney, Danijela Lowney, and Gavin Lowney, and her sister, Vesela (Antisa) Copic.
She was preceded in death by husband, her parents, and her brother, Zeljko Ljubic.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at Warren Funeral Home located at 1475 N. Cemetery Rd. Gurnee, IL 60031. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Fr. James Merold will officiate.
Burial will be at Warren Cemetery.
Warren Funeral Home is assisting the family.
