Andres Taberna

Andres Corneta Taberna, 78 of Gurnee, passed away suddenly at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan. He was born on August 14, 1936 in the Philippines to Feliciano and Lucrecia Taberna. On January 29, 1965 in the Philippines, Andres married Lucy Bolivar. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Lucy Taberna; children, Lucille Ann (James) Jereos, Hansel (Marinella) Taberna, Dax Andrew Taberna, Girlie Rose (Thomas) Hilaga and Lily Joy Tabano; sister, Leticia Gonzaga; grandchildren, Kezza Nephreteree Jereos, Arriana Bryounce Jereos, Czarlize Tristen Jereos, Zaira Mari Taberna, Thea Nelle Taberna, Michael Andrew Taberna, Timothy John "TJ" Taberna and Thomas Andre T. Hilaga. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Digna Luzurriaga; brothers, Eustaquio "Tiquio" Taberna, Sergio "Seryo" Taberna, Hilario "Ayong" Taberna, Ernesto "Eruing" Taberna and Raul Taberna. Visitation is Thursday, December 11, 2014 from 3-7pm at Warren Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7pm at the funeral home with Fr. Carlos Llagos officiating. Interment is private.
