Anthony W. Urbanik

Anthony "Tony" W. Urbanik, age 96, proud Korean War Army Veteran and North Chicago fireman, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on February 26, 2026. He is survived by his beloved children Linda (Bill) Snyder, James (Mary Machak) Urbanik, Anthony (Catherine Guerra) Urbanik, and foster daughter Victoria Tercero Miscichoski; his cherished grandchildren Talia (Jason) Finch, Edward Snyder, Joe Urbanik, Kyle Urbanik, and Curtis Urbanik; his precious great-grandchildren Avalene, Lakota, Inda, Asher, and Ellie; and his dear sister Rita Mateja. He is a dear uncle, cousin, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who know and love him.

He is preceded in passing and joins in Heaven his beloved wife of 66 years Marlene Urbanik; his proud parents Joseph and Sophia Urbanik, and his dear siblings Joe, Al, Frank, and Vera.

A very special thanks to Nijole, his caregiver, for her loving attention and care for Tony in the last few years.

Friends and family will meet for visitation on Thursday, March 12, 2026 from 10:30AM-12:30PM at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N. Cemetery Road, Gurnee, IL. The funeral service will begin at 12:30PM, followed by interment at Warren Cemetery.
