Armando Tamez, 69, of Zion, Illinois passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Advocate Condell Medical Center.
He was born on June 20, 1951 to the late Alberto and Isabel Tamez in Mexico. On June 23, 1970 he married Eva Tamez. He enjoyed his loving family and many friends, and he loved to cook for everyone who was around.
Armando is survived by his wife Eva, his children; Juan (Sandra) Tamez, Carlos (Judith) Tamez, Iris Tamez, and Jose (Karen) Tamez, along with 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, his siblings; Maria Rosa (Pablo) Gutierez, Alberto (Yolanda) Tamez Jr., Mario Tamez, and his sister-in-law; Olga Tamez.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Federico Tamez.
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, services will be private.
Burial will be at Warren Cemetery.
Warren Funeral Home and Cemetery is assisting the family.
