Barbara Cooper

Barbara A. Cooper, 81, of Waukegan, passed away December 20, 2016 at Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 26, 1935 in Rockingham, North Carolina. Barbara was a Nursing Assistant for more than 47 years at Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center in North Chicago, and worked until her passing. She is survived by her loving children, George F. Sacca, Jr., John (Jennifer) Sacca, Rene' (Robert, Sr.) Greene and Roy (Ana) Garber; grandchildren, Kari (Chris) Le, Hanna Sacca, Cheyenne Sacca, Rachel Garber, Shelby Greene and Robert Greene, Jr.; great grandchildren, Brielle Le and Cooper Le; best friend, Ann Ellis-Wells, and numerous friends from the VA Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Phoeba (Dickerson) Howard, and beloved husband, Clarence Cooper. Visitation is Saturday, January 14, 2017 from 10am-11am at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee. A memorial service will take place at 11am at the funeral home. Burial at Northshore Garden of Memories in North Chicago. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Save-A-Pet, 31164 N. Fairfield Rd., Grayslake, IL 60030.
