Captain Ernie Logan Mullen, 77, of Wadsworth passed away Friday, March 28, 2014 at Silverado Senior Living in Highland Park. He was born May 3, 1936 in Chicago to Tony, Sr. and Eunice (Hermetet) Mullen
.
Survived by his loving children, Cindy (Jeff) McGrath and Jill (Joe) Perez; sister-in-law, Mary Mullen; brother-in-law, James (Joyce) Miller; grandchildren, Kristin Stewart, Amanda Perez, Lauryn Stewart, Brandon Perez and Ryan McGrath. He was preceded in death by his parents; mother of his daughters, Janice Lynn Mullen; beloved wife of 19 years, Mary Beth Mullen; brother, Tony Mullen, Jr. and sister, Eunice Castrovillari.

Ernie worked and retired from ComEd after 35 ½ years of service and was a Charter Boat Captain at Waukegan Harbor for 25 years.

Visitation Friday, April 4, 2014 from 4:00 pm until memorial services at 6:00 pm at WARREN FUNERAL HOME, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee. Fr. Fred Pesek from St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Wadsworth will officiate services. Interment private.
