Carmelyn "Carmie" Ann Hardison, 71, of Grayslake, went home to be with the Lord surrounded by her loved ones on July 14, 2015 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. She was born May 28, 1944 in York, Maine to Freeman and Mary (Brooks) Yoder. Carmie went to Woodland Grade School, Warren High School and College of Lake County and earned her teaching certificate to work at Lamb's Farm. She was a beautician for many years. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and (Genee Lepak) Jackson, II; fiancé, Michael Ponticelli; sisters, Carolyn (Al Beechy) Carpenter and Connie (Robert Lancaster) Weaver; nieces and nephews, Jeff, Chuck, Norman, Mary and Bob. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Walter Hardison. Visitation is Friday, July 17, 2015 from 6 pm - 7 pm at WARREN FUNERAL HOME, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee. Funeral services are at 7 pm following the visitation at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
