Carol Carter, 70 of Beach Park, IL passed away at Vista East Medical Center in Waukegan on Friday December 22, 2017.
She was born on March 22, 1947 in Waukegan to the late Thomas and Dorothy (Hund) Traynor. She married Preston Carter on September 25, 1965. Carol was a homemaker and the bookkeeper for the family business.
She was a member of the Zion Moose Lodge, the Zion Kiwanis, Sierra Club, Wild Life Foundation and the Ladies of Harley. She loved her bike trips with the Harley club and truly enjoyed planning those trips. She enjoyed cooking and baking. She especially enjoyed baking cupcakes for the neighbor kids.
Carol is survived by her husband Preston, sons Chris (Michelle) Carter and Rodrick Carter, grandchildren, Aryanna Carter and Jacob Carter and and great grandson, Carter Mattonen.
Private Family Services will be held at a later date. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105. The Family is being assisted by Warren Funeral Home.
