In Loving Memory of Catherine Anne Wilson

On June 22, 2026, Catherine Anne Wilson passed away, leaving behind a legacy of creativity, compassion, and love.

Catherine is survived by her two daughters, Alex and Rachael, her beloved granddaughter, Leanne, and her aunts, Ann Ostern and Sara Barnett.

She is greeted in Heaven by her father, James Barnett, Mother, Anne Barnett (Hampton), and Brother, Stephen Barnett.

An accomplished writer, Catherine shared her imagination and storytelling through novels, children's books, and screenplays. Her award-winning screenplay for the children's animation Tickle Pink was about a shy flamingo learning to belong, a testament to how her passion for writing was only matched by her deep love and affection for animals. She was incredibly resourceful in her care, building a barn from the ground-up just to shelter her beloved horses, and breaking out injured dogs. Oftentimes she would go above and beyond to protect and care for these animals. Regardless of health or hardships, she would strive to give them kindness, generosity, and a loving home.

Catherine will be remembered for her creative spirit, her caring heart, and the lasting impact she made on the lives of those who knew and loved her. She is deeply missed, and will be forever cherished in memory.

If you would like to donate to the family farm or send plants and flowers in memory of Catherine, please contact Warren Funeral Home for details of where to send them.
