Charles Hawkins

Charles Marshaun Hawkins, 26 of Round Lake Beach, passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2020 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL.

He was born on October 18, 1993 to Christy Antunez and Ralph Hawkins Jr.in Libertyville, IL.  He attended Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Rockford, IL.  Charles graduated from Laremont School with the class of 2015.

Charles is survived by his mother, Christy (Robert) Antunez, his father, Ralph (Heather) Hawkins Jr., his siblings; Alexxis Hawkins, Daeshaun Hawkins, and Ari Hawkins, his maternal grandparents, Charles and Barbara Chacon, his paternal grandmother, Barbara Hawkins, his paternal great grandmother, Annie Jones, his maternal great grandfather, Norman Shaffer, his aunt, Angie (Tony) Smith, his uncle Oliver (Tressa) Hawkins, his Godmother, Kristie Martin,  very close family friends, Tia Minjares and Mike Sakiewicz, numerous cousins, great aunts and uncle, as well as great great aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Ralph Hawkins Sr., and his paternal great grandfather, Clyde Jones.

Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Warren Funeral Home and cemetery located at 1475 N. Cemetery Rd. Gurnee, IL.  Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on the 18th at the Funeral Home.  Father James Merold will officiate.

There will be additional celebration of life on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Sharky’s/Lake bowl located at 601 Railroad Ave, Round Lake, IL 60073 beginning at 6:00 P.M. were food will be served.
