Charles "Skip" Holderbaum

Charles "Skip" Holderbaum, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2024. Proud Marine Corps Veteran of the Vietnam War. He is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years Deborah Holderbaum nee Elblein; stepsons Jonathan (Hillary) Laird, Christopher (fiancee Deseree Highman) Philipp, Mark (Tracy Rohrbach) Philipp, and Joey (Katie) Philipp; grandchildren Wyatt, Elliana, and Freya; siblings Walter (Marie "Mickey") Holderbaum, Sandra (the late Louis) Styden, Carrie (Howard) Morgan, Connie (the late Julian) Esparza, and Jenny (David) Spaulding; and siblings-in-law Ray "Butch" Elblein and Bonnie (Terry) Amlin. Dear uncle, cousin, and friend to many who will miss him dearly.

 He is preceded in passing by his parents Charles and Irma Holderbaum; parents-in-law Anthony and Beverly Elblein; siblings Judy, Harry, Frank, Eric, John, and Judy (survived by Carl); and sister-in-law Dixie. He will be deeply missed by all who know and love him.

 Friends and family will meet for visitation on Friday, August 30, 2024 from 10AM-12PM at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N. Cemetery Road, Gurnee. The funeral service will begin at 12PM with interment to follow.
