Clara Leicht

Clara Louise Leicht passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at St. Catherine's Hospital in Pleasant Prairie, WI.

She was born April 17, 1924 in Gurnee IL. to the late Elbert and Mary (Schryver) Elsbury. Clara graduated from Warren Township High School in 1942. She married Albin Leicht on September 16, 1944 at the Immaculate Conception church.
Clara worked at Citizens National Bank in Waukegan, was a Boy Scout leader, and a volunteer for the Cancer Society. She spent many years working from home as a seamstress. Clara also enjoyed quilting with her family and friends in Milburn.

She is survived by her sons, Larry (Linda) Leicht, of Ferndale WA and Scott (Carol) Leicht, of Mount Pleasant WI, her daughter, Mary Kay Littlejohn of Buda TX., six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Clara was proceeded in death by her parents Albert and Mary Elsbury, 4 brothers Clifford (Margret), Milford (Sophie), Burton and Lester (Nancy), 3 sisters Mildred (John) Haisma, Alice (Al) Johnson, and Ruth.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Warren Funeral Home located at 1475 N. Cemetery Rd. Gurnee, IL 60031. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at the funeral home.
