Claudia Niva

Claudia V. Niva, 75, of Gurnee passed away Monday, October 20, 2014 at Midwest Palliative and Hospice Care Center in Glenview. She was born January 14, 1939 in Downers Grove, IL.
She is survived by her two loving daughters, Dalee (Bob) Barta of Cottage Grove, WI and Daria (Kelly) Faulkner-Bord of Naperville, IL; one sister, Carol Cable of Gurnee; one brother, Ernest Bettin of California; four grandchildren, Megan Barta, Katie Barta, Caley Faulkner and Kyle Faulkner. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Julia (nee Marazas) Bettin and husband, Russell Roy Niva.
During her retirement, Claudia actively enjoyed Altrusa, Waukegan Women's City Club, Red Hat Society, and Friends of the Warren Newport Library.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 23, 2014 from 11am-12pm at WARREN FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will follow at 12pm at the funeral home. Burial at Warren Cemetery & Mausoleum, Gurnee.
