Cristina Soto, 11, of Kenosha, formerly of Waukegan, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at home. She was born on August 3, 2002 in Waukegan. She is survived by her loving parents, Francisco and Diana Cruz, Jr.; biological mother, Jacqueline Soto; brothers, Francisco Cruz, III, Christopher Robert Cruz, Jeremias Williams Cruz and Joshua Xavier Cruz; sister, Jazmin Danielle Cruz; maternal grandparents, Moises and Maria A. Soto; paternal grandmother, Olga Cruz; aunts and uncles, Maribel (Carlos Davila) Soto, Susan (Javier) Rodriguez, Moises E. Soto, William (Todd) Cruz, Benito (Miriam) Cruz, Rose Marie (Jose) Lozada, Raphael Cruz and Modesta Cruz. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2014 from 5-9pm at Latin Pentecostal Church, 100 Chapel Street, Waukegan, IL 60085. Funeral services will be on Friday, June 6, 2014 at 10am at the church with Pastor Wilfredo Hernandez officiating. Burial will follow at Warren Cemetery & Mausoleum, Gurnee. Memorial donations may be made to Cristina's family in care of her mother, Diana Cruz.
