Crystal Gonzalez

Crystal Gonzalez, 20 of Round Lake Beach passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at her home.

She was born on July 13, 1998 to Victoria Gomez and Carlos Gonzalez in Waukegan, IL. Crystal graduated from Round Lake Senior High School in 2016. She attended her freshman and sophomore years of college at Southern Illinois University and had just started her junior year at College of Lake County. Crystal was passionate about helping others and was pursuing a career in Social Work Services from CLC. She enjoyed reading, listening to music, crafts, walks in the park, and attending church, but spending time with her family was her favorite thing to do.

Crystal is survived by her mother, Victoria (Jaime Santiago) Gomez, her father, Carlos Gonzalez, her sister Leslie Maite Diaz, her maternal grandparents, Frank and Victoria Gomez, who helped raise Crystal, her paternal grandmother, Eloisa Sandoval, her paternal grandfather, Juan Gonzalez, many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be on Wednesday October 10, 2018 from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Warren Funeral Home located at 1475 N. Cemetery Rd. Gurnee, IL. Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Pastor Jaime Godinez will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Crystal's name may be made to Advocate Condell Medical Center - Cancer Care Services.

Burial will be at Warren Cemetery.
