Daniel Tiernan Jakubisin

Daniel Tiernan Jakubisin, age 71, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2026. He is survived by his loving son Logan Jakubisin; his cherished grandchildren Zoe, River, Xander, Grey, and Garin; his dear siblings Gayle (Rich) Warner, Don (Diana) Jakubisin, Ron (Nancy) Jakubisin, Pat (Joy) Jakubisin, and Phil (Cathy) Jakubisin; his dear siblings-in-law Deb Blaul, Sandy (Bill) White, and Rudy (Stephanie) Love; and his beloved puppy Madeline. He was a dear uncle, cousin, and friend who will be deeply missed.

He is preceded in passing by his beloved partner Charlotte Nowman, his loving son Jason Jakubisin, his dear brother Gregory Jakubisin, his proud parents Nicholas and Charlene (nee Tiernan) Jakubisin.

Dan enjoyed sailing, fishing, playing cribbage, and most of all, spending time with his beloved family and friends, especially at his cottage. He was a diehard Green Bay Packers and Chicago Cubs fan.

Friends and family will meet for visitation on Wednesday, November 18, 2026 from 10:30AM-12:30PM at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N. Cemetery Road, Gurnee, IL. The funeral service will begin at 12:30PM followed by interment at Warren Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Dan’s name to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
