Daniel T. Welzen, passed away on December 20. 2023. Beloved husband of 18 years to Bernadeth Welzen, nee Ison. Proud father of Maxwell Welzen. Dear brother of Jennifer Welzen, Michael Welzen, and the late Peter J. Welzen. Cherished son of the late Peter G. and Viriginia Welzen (nee Vasilas).
Daniel began his academic career at St. Joseph Catholic School and became an engineer. He was also a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Gurnee.
Family and friends will gather for visitation on Thursday, December 28, 2023 from 12:30PM-2:30PM at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N. Cemetery Road, Gurnee, IL. The Funeral service will begin at 2:30PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Daniel's name to the family to assist his son, Maxwell, would be appreciated. Arrangements by Warren Funeral Home, 847-855-2760.
