Denise A Blanton, 62, passed away April 21, 2017 at Advocate Condell Medical Center, Libertyville, IL.

She was born August 8, 1954 in Waukegan, IL. She leaves to cherish her loving memory; three children, LaTrina (Joseph) Blanton, Melissa (Howard) Cager, DeCount (Joy) Daniels; eight grandchildren, Kelvin Scott, Keylen Scott, Daenon Daniels, Kayla Thomas, Zoe Daniels, Keona Cager, DeCount D. Daniels, and DeAyre Daniels; eight siblings, Fannie Taylor, Carolyn Carter, Donna Blanton, Veronica Hill, Gail Overton-Swopes, Bobby Overton Forston, Rex Blanton and James Overton; nieces and nephews, Darrius Taylor, Dorette Brownlee, Davin Taylor, Fontayne Taylor, Romell D. Overton, Keenun Hill, Berron Hill, Sr., Bridget Q. Hill, Brandon Hill, Crystal M. Overton-Soganci, Ashley Swopes-Lloyd, Bobby Forston, Jr., Jasmine Forston, Rodney Blanton, Cornelius Blanton, Quatisha Marshall, Quincy Marshall, Queen Blanton, Rashid Poole Blanton, Feliciana Melendez, George Melendez, and many more relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Josephine B.L. (Hawes) Blanton; two brothers, John Blanton and George Blanton, Jr.; her grandparents, Thomas, Sr. and Josephine Bessie Louise (Hawes) Coleman, two aunts, Myrtle L. Perry and Maxine Pink; three uncles, Thomas Coleman, Jr., Clarence Coleman, Earl Coleman, James Coleman.

Per Denise's request, there was no funeral service.
