Diane Carlson

Diane Andrea Carlson, 65 of Waukegan, went home to the loving arms of the Lord on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at Highland Park Hospital.
She was born March 30, 1949 in Chicago to Burton W. and Virgina V. (Valentine) Carlson. Upon graduating college and obtaining her Master's degree, she became a teacher at St. Anastasia School teaching various grades for 19 years and also became a reading instructor in the Waukegan school district. Diane was also an avid dog lover.
She is survived by two brothers; Wayne (Cynthia) of Lake Forest and Douglas (Mari) Carlson of Wadsworth; two nephews Andrew (Jennifer) and Adam (Jennifer) Carlson; one great niece McKayla Carlson and many cousins & friends especially Barbara Harte.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 from 10-11am at Warren Funeral Home; 1475 North Cemetery Road, Gurnee. Funeral services will be held at 11am at the funeral home with Pastor Terry Breum, St. Mark Lutheran Church, Lindenhurst officiating. Interment will be private.
