Donald R. Ford

Donald "Don" R. Ford of Oak Lawn passed peacefully in his sleep on June 7th at the age of 91. Don was a loving husband to Dolores "Dee" Ford, father of 3 daughters, 5 step children, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Don served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He spent much of his life keeping the lights on for all of us retiring as a supervisor for Commonwealth Edison. Don had many passions including golf, gardening, contesting, the Elks Club and was a lifetime member of the VFW and American Legion. 

Don was a man of faith and an active member of St. Linus Church. A private memorial Mass will be held and interment to follow is also private. In lieu of flowers, please consider a small donation to a charity of choice in his memory.
