Edita de la Rosa

Edita Gervacio de la Rosa, age 99, fell asleep in the arms of our Lord on August 29, 2025. She is survived by her beloved children Rogelie (Kenneth Spangler) de la Rosa and Rene (Sylvia) de la Rosa; her cherished grandchildren Rensyl (Jimmy) Macling, Ray Ian de la Rosa, Regin Keith (Margrethe) de la Rosa, and Samantha (Justin Bolyard) Bowar; her precious great-grandchildren Jiolo Rene, Julius, Renee Julie, Jiana Orly, Randall Drake, Annabelle Mae, Luke II and Amelia Kate; and her dear siblings Apolinario (the late Leticia) Gervacio, Orencio (Noemi) Gervacio, Cecilia (Robert) Rosales, Teresita (Ding) Esponilla, Perla (the late Efren) Ernacio, and Meliton (Divina) Gervacio Jr. She is a dear aunt, cousin, and friend to many who will miss her deeply. 

She joins in Heaven her beloved husband of over 60 years Teofilo de la Rosa, her proud parents Meliton and Emerciana Gervacio, and her dear siblings Soledad (the late Zomiso Sr.), Serafin (the late Reming), and Lilia (the late Estevan) Napalit.

Friends and family will meet for visitation on Saturday, September 13, 2025 from 3PM-7PM at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N. Cemetery Road, Gurnee, IL. The visitation will continue on Sunday, September 14, 2025 starting at 1PM until the time of the funeral service beginning at 2PM.
