Edward Gromala

Edward A. Gromala, 86, of Lindenhurst, Il passed away on January 11, 2009 at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. He was born on July 24, 1922 in Chicago. On April 21, 1951 in Chicago, Edward married Dorothy E. Moore. He is survived by his son, Edward (Tricia) Gromala of Hawthorn Woods, IL, daughter, Patricia (Mark) Hatton of Gurnee, brothers, Henry Gromala of Chicago, Ralph (Camille) Gromala of Elgin, IL; grandchildren, Ryan, Jessica, Jacob and Alexandria. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jospeh and Mary (Kurnyta) Gromala, wife of 52 years, Dorothy Gromala, brothers, Frank, John and Joseph Gromala and sister, Rosalie Chaja. Edward was a United States WWII Navy Veteran. Family and friends may meet on Thursday, January 15, 2009 from 5 - 9 pm at Warren Funeral Home. Everyone is invited to meet at the funeral home at 9 am before processing to church where a funeral mass will be held on Friday, January 16, 2009 at 10:30 am at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 6401 Gages Lake Rd., Gurnee, IL with Fr. Ray Clennon officiating. Burial will follow at Warren Cemetery & Mausoleum, Gurnee, IL.
