Edward Miller

Edward James Miller, 94, of Lindenhurst, formerly of Spring Hill, FL, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2013 at the Village at Victory Lakes in Lindenhurst. He was born on May 12, 1919 in Flint, Michigan to John K. and Minnie R. (nee Basar) Miller. He is survived by his two children, Jim (Cora) Miller of Gurnee and Pam (Pete) Pulizze of Spring Grove, IL; three granddaughters, Julie (Kevin) Hessenthaler, Sandi (Brian) Rundio and Jo (David) Heidlauf; four great grandchildren, Aiden Hessenthaler, Ava Hessenthaler, Dylan Heidlauf and Alyssa Heidlauf; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, June G. Miller; six brothers, Tom, Frank, Bill, Larry, George, Hank ,and two sisters, Lee and Mary. Edward was a US Army Tank Commander aboard the 2nd Armored Division during WWII. He enjoyed fishing and gardening. A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee. Interment will be private.
