Elvira Hayes

Elvira Hayes, 60, went to be with our Lord on September 19, 2024. She is survived by her loving children Tiffany Bishop and Deonté Bishop (significant other Julia); her cherished granddaughter Nairobi Lopez-Bishop; her dear siblings James (Sharon) Monroe Lindsey, Regina Stewart, and William Craigen Jr.; her proud parents Sadie M. Stewart of Waukegan, IL and Monroe Hayes of Greenville, MS; her dear aunt Arlene Ochoa; her precious best friend Kari Farias; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss her deeply.

She is preceded in passing by her grandmother Bertha Norman, her brother Mitchell (survived by Frances) Lindsey, her Fiancé Gerald McDonald, her stepfather John Stewart, and her special cousins Virginia Moore, Gloria Jean Moore, and Lee Andrew Moore.

Private family services were held. 

Elvira will be deeply missed by all who know and love her.
