Ezekiel Carter

Ezekiel Carter, Jr. 62, of Waukegan passed away Friday, March 12, 2021 at The Terrace Nursing Home. He was born September 19, 1958 in Coatopa, AL. to Ezekiel and Julia Carter. He married Elizabeth on February 11, 2000.  He was a member of Waukegan Community Church.

He is survived by his wife Elizabeth; children: Atlantis Carter, Marquell Jermone Carter, Burell Lareece Carter, Celina Ezera Carter, Damekiel Carter, Montrell Randle, Sharrece Randle, Keyia Davis, Ezekiel Randle; mother Julia Carter; siblings: William (Donna) Miller, Pastor Carrie Wheeler Moore, Josephine Wood, Shirley Carter, Jackie McClain, Craig McClain, Brian (Liz) McClain Mark (Crystal) McClain; twenty grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father Ezekiel Carter; and two sisters: Tessie McClain and Dolores Wheeler.

Visitation will be on Monday, March 22 from 10 am until the time of service at 10:30 am at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd. Gurnee, IL. 60031. Burial will be in Warren Cemetery.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and in accordance with current State of Illinois Phase 4 regulations, all guests will be required to wear a face mask at all times.  There will be a maximum of 50 people allowed in the funeral home at a time and proper social distancing must be practiced.
