Frances Machak

Frances L. Machak, 76, of Gurnee, passed away August 23, 2015 at Vista Medical Center in Waukegan. She was born March 9, 1939 in Waukegan. Frances worked for more than 35 years as an Executive Assistant for the Lake County Circuit Clerk. She was a member of St. Patrick Church in Wadsworth, enjoyed reading and loved animals. She is survived by her brothers, Anthony (Beverly) Machak of Summerfield, FL, Al (Bernice) Machak of Waukegan, Bernard Machak of Zion, Edward (Pat) Machak of Grayslake; sisters, Genevieve Butler of Gurnee, Phyllis (Walter) Gordy of Whitewater, WI, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Aloysius and Anna (Zuber) Machak; brother-in-law, Paul Butler and sister-in-law, Pat Machak. Visitation is Wednesday, August 26, 2015 from 5-8pm at WARREN FUNERAL HOME, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee. Funeral mass will be Thursday, August 27, 2015 at 11am at St. Patrick Church, 15000 W. Wadsworth Rd., Wadsworth (meet at the funeral home from 9:30am- 10:30am before mass, and we will process to the church for services). Donations may be made to American Diabetes Association or the Special Olympics.
