Frances Papp

Frances Riedel Papp passed away on February 11, 2014. She was born in Granton, Wisconsin on January 3, 1915 to Herman and Anna (Nemitz) Riedel. She moved to Illinois as a young adult and was employed in various positions, retiring from the Veterans Hospital as a nurse, later doing volunteer work. She was a lady of many talents and interests. She married Carl J. Papp on August 23, 1963. She is survived by sisters, Lovella Ossander, Gladys Piat, Adele Gilpin, Dolores and Ione Riedel; nephews, George Peternel, Larry Peternel, Marvin (Linda) Worchel, Vince (Cheri), Dave (Jane) and Mike Piat; step-son, Carl Papp. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents; sisters, Gertrude Peternel and Florence Riedel; brothers, Harold and Herman Riedel; brothers-in-law, George Peternel, George Ossander, Walter Piat, Marvin Worchel and Charles Gilpin. Private memorial service and burial at Warren Funeral Home & Cemetery, Gurnee.
