Gary Randall

Gary Robert Randall, 68, passed away at home in Gurnee, surrounded by his loving family, on November 13 after a long illness.
He was born on June 3, 1949 in Waukegan to Robert and Marie Randall. Gary graduated from Warren Township High School in 1966 and earned a bachelor's degree in political science from Southern Illinois University in 1970. He worked at the Waukegan Post Office for over 40 years. Gary was an avid sports fan, the Chicago Cubs being his favorite team.
Survivors include his wife, Lauri (nee Schumacher); sons Joshua, Adam, and Jacob; grandchildren Lily and Levi Randall; and many members of his extended family. We all were grateful to Gary's sister, Renee Randall (James Moon) for her support, love, and caregiving over the past two years.
Service is to be held on Saturday, November 18 at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N. Cemetery Road, Gurnee, IL 60031, with visitation at 11:00 and a Memorial Service to follow at 12:00. Donations in Gary's memory may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation: www.jdrf.org
