George Hutchison

George Francis Hutchison, 89 years old, of Round Lake, Illinois, formerly of Arlington Heights and Elk Grove, passed away on October 24, 2018, at Lutheran Home in Arlington Heights, Illinois.

George was born on March 27, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois and was the beloved husband of the late Rose Marie (Higgins) Hutchison, for 60 wonderful years.

George was preceded in death by his sons Edward James Hutchison and George and Francis Hutchison, his parents, George F. Hutchison Sr. and Mary (McElleney) Hutchison and his brothers Edward and Ron Hutchison.

George was the loving and devoted father of Mary (Phil) Ried, Bill Hutchison, Joe (Mary) Hutchison, Theresa (Frank) Sarillo, Patricia Olszewski, Elizabeth Kautz, Thomas (Jessica) Hutchison; beloved grandfather of Christopher, Timothy, Matthew, Joseph, Nicholas, Nicole, Shannon, Brittany, Michael, Thomas, Lauren, Rachel, Kyra and Nate and loving great grandfather of Graham. George is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

George was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a retired insurance auditor and security guard. He enjoyed playing golf, watching football (Notre Dame and the Bears), baseball (White Sox and more recently the Cubs) and golf. George loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchild.

Memorial Mass will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church at 114 Lincoln Ave, Round Lake, IL 60073 on Friday 11/2 at 9:30. Internment at Warren Cemetery at 11:00.

Friends and family are welcome to join in a celebration of George’s life that will follow internment services at Maravela’s Banquet Halls 4 Washington Ave., Fox Lake, at noon.
