Grace "Gigi" Alva
Grace "Gigi" Alva, age 76, passed away surrounded by her loving family on January 27, 2024. Beloved wife of Santiago Alva for 53 years. Loving mother of Michelle Alba Reina (Mike) and Ashley Linda Alva Di Bella (Edward). Proud grandmother of Destiny Sipp (Paul) and Nicole Drexler. Dear sister of Elena Baltierra, Cristina Schmidt, and the late Hector Venegas. Cherished daughter of the late Lucina Sanchez. Aunt and friend to many. In fond remembrance, we honor a remarkable woman, a devout follower of the Lord, now reunited with her loved ones in His glorious embrace.
Friends and family will meet for visitation from 4PM-8PM on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N. Cemetery Road, Gurnee, IL. Funeral service will take place at 12PM at New Hope Church, 5501 Stearns School Road, Gurnee, IL on Friday, February 2, 2024. Committal service to follow at Warren Cemetery, Gurnee, IL. In loving memory of Grace, let us gather in unity and if you wish, wear the color purple - her favorite!
