Guillermina Avila

Guillermina Menchaca de Avila, 76, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on August 30, 2026. She is survived by her beloved children Leonardo Avila, Martha Avila, Mariana Avila, and Luis Carlos Avila; her precious grandchildren Cristina, Jessy, Cesar, Frankie, Daniela, Silvia, Alex, Michael, Gabriela, Kathy, Nohami, Oscar, Joseph, Isaac, Ethan, & Desiree; many great-grandchildren; and her dear siblings Lydia and Olegario Menchaca.

She joins in Heaven her late husband Jose Luis Avila and her beloved parents Jesus and Genoveva Menchaca.

Friends and family will meet for visitation on Friday, September 11, 2026 at 10:30AM at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N. Cemetery Road, Gurnee, IL. The funeral service will begin at 12:30PM, followed by interment at Warren Cemetery.
