Harold J. Cunningham, 69 of Waukegan, passed away at Vista East Medical Center on Monday February 5, 2018.
He was born on March 20, 1948 in Waukegan to the late William and Lessie Mae (Scott) Cunningham.
Harold married Detrice Scott. She preceded him in death on June 24, 2005. He worked at Great Lakes Naval Academy and the V.A.
He is survived by his son Pernell Cunningham, his girlfriend, Alice McClinton, his brother's; Raymond, Kenneth and Martin Cunningham, his sister's; Rosie Terry-Powell and Brenda (Freddie) Myers, his grandchildren; Darius, Frison, Shabria, Destiny and Aniyah Moore and his great grandchild Cayden Moore.
Harold was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, his brother's; Robert, Gilbert and baby brother Herman, his sister's; Betty Jean Givens, Gloria Jones and baby sister Doris.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2018 from 10:00-11:00 A.M. at Mt. Sinai Institutional Baptist Church located at 2401 Argonne Dr. North Chicago, IL. Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. at the Church. Rev. Gerald Wilcoxon will offiate.
Pallbearers are Melvin Sanders, Eldridge Williams, Thomas Jones and Martin Perry.
Entombment will be at Warren Cemetery in Gurnee, IL.
The Family is being assisted by Warren Funeral Home.
