James Kolar

James A. Kolar (Jim), 69, died on August 15, 2026. Despite difficulties since birth, Jim lived a full life, including hiking to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and out.

Jim never complained and just loved being with his family for pizza and a near beer. Jim was loved by all his siblings, in-laws, nephews, niece, and his cousins. He was a life-long Cubs, Bears and Bulls fan.

Jim is survived by his brother Joseph (Jennifer), sister Janet, and sister Judith (James).

Jim was predeceased by his brother Jeffrey Kolar, father Jerry A. Kolar, mother Joan Morrison, step-father Edwin Morrision and brother-in-law Edward Schlarbaum.

Services for Jim will be private.
