James Wilbert McGraw

James Wilbert McGraw, 78, proud Marine and Vietnam veteran, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2026. He is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years Karen K McGraw; his sons Avery D McGraw and Veencent L McGraw; his grandchildren August James and Cyrus Jaden McGraw; and his sisters Betty Robinson and Mernette McDaniel. He is a dear uncle, cousin, and friend of many who will miss him deeply. 

He had a giving heart and would do anything for any one. He dearly loved his wife ,boys, and grandsons. He helped so many people and no one ever had a bad thing to say about him. 

He is preceded in passing by his parents Robert and Leanna McDaniel and his brothers Nathaniel Davis and LeVerne McDaniel.

Friends and family will meet for visitation on Friday, May 1, 2026 from 2PM-4PM at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N. Cemetery Road, Gurnee, IL. Interment will be private.
