James Michael Somers

James Somers, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2025. He is survived by his siblings Pierce (the late Debbie) Somers, David (Laura) Somers, and Sharon (David) Badzioch; his nieces and nephews Daron (partner Amy), Ryan (Cynthia), William, Robert, Brandon, Jonathon (partner Ana), and Megan; and great-nieces and nephews Ethan, Audrey, Jameson, and Charlotte. He is a dear cousin and friend to many who will miss him deeply.

He is preceded in passing by his parents Sheila and Joseph Somers.

James was a devoted man that always took time out of his schedule to help out at the church that he attended for over 20 years. He loved to travel, especially to Lake Geneva, WI and Mackinac Island, MI.

Friends and family will meet for visitation on Thursday, September 25, 2025 from 11:30AM-12:30PM at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N. Cemetery Road, Gurnee, IL. The funeral service will begin at 12:30PM, followed by interment at Warren Cemetery.
