Jean Laura Brainerd, age 80, of Ocala FL was born on June 11, 1937 and went home to the LORD on July 19, 2017 surrounded by her family.
Jean is survived by her four sons and five grandchildren; Michael Brainerd of Libertyville, IL; Scott (Jeanine) Brainerd and their children Gavin Lee and Cayden Nolan of Kenosha, Wi; Jeffrey (Mindy) Brainerd of Libertyville, IL; Richard (Julie) Brainerd and their children Jaxon, Logan, and Sophia Jean of Tillamook, OR and Buddy the cat. Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Edward O'Donnell and Helen McElliott.
Jean was formerly of Libertyville where she attended St. Joseph Church. She was also an avid Cubs fan.
A gathering will take place on Saturday, August 5, 2017 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at The Chapel, 1966 W Hawley Street, Mundelein, IL. A memorial service will follow the a gathering at 11:00 am at The Chapel with Pastor Andy Ransdell officiating. Entombment will follow at a later date.
