Jessie James Orsby, Jr., 43, of Zion, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Rockford Memorial Hospital in Rockford, IL. He was born February 20, 1973 in Waukegan. He married Tonya L. Tate on September 3, 2014 in Las Vegas, NV. Jessie was a member of the ABT Bowling League in the Chicagoland area, and Truck Owner Jay O Trucking. He is survived by his loving wife, Tonya L. Tate-Orsby; sons, Josiah James Orsby, Marcus Rayfield and Michael Morrissette; daughter, Makalah Morrissette; parents, mother, Annie Glover; father, Jessie James (Lillie) Orsby, Sr.; mothers-in-law, Eloise Plaines and Margaret Smith; paternal grandmother, Hazel Melvin; brothers, Cornelius Orsby, Calvin "Dante" (Kristine) Moore and Wilbert (Christy) Moore; sisters, Josie "Tina" Guy, Monikkia Moore, Nikkia Moore; brother-in-law, Rodrick (Valerie) Tate, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended relatives. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Toussaint L. Tate, Jr.; paternal grandfather, James Orsby; maternal grandparents, Joe and Theresa Gibson, Sr. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 11am at First Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church, 1529 Elizabeth Ave., North Chicago, IL with visitation one hour prior to services from 10-11am at the church with Rev. Jesse Shelby officiating. Interment will be private at Warren Cemetery & Mausoleum, Gurnee.
