Jose Hernandez

Jose Hernandez, 74, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2026. He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years Floriberta Hernandez Flores; his loving daughters Josefina (Celsol Alamo) Hernandez, Veronica (Bulmaro Machuca) Hernandez, Imelda Hernandez, Patricia (Christian Silva) Hernandez, and Jacqueline (Jesus Negron) Negron; his cherished grandchildren Juan Jose Alamo, Nadia Alamo, Doryan Hernandez, Edwin Machuca, Camila Silva, Isabella Stafford and Alexzandra; his precious great-grandson Easton Alamo; and his dear siblings Jesus Hernandez, Maria Hernandez, Lucia Hernandez, Matilde Hernandez, Macario Hernandez, Magdalena Hernandez and Gertrudiz Hernandez. He is a dear uncle, cousin, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who know and love him.

He is preceded in passing and joins in Heaven his proud parents Vicente and Esperanza Hernandez and his dear siblings Gema Hernandez and Fidencio Hernandez.

Friends and family will meet for visitation on Thursday, January 15, 2026 from 4PM-8PM at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N. Cemetery Road, Gurnee, IL. The funeral service will take place the following day on Friday, January 16, 2026 at 10AM at Holy Family/Sagrada Familia Church, 450 Keller Avenue, Waukegan IL. Interment will follow at Warren Cemetery.
