Jovenia B. Cortez, 77 of Beach Park, IL passed away on June 18, 2017 at her home. She was born in the Philippines May 26, 1940 and moved to the United States in 2006. She came to Beach Park in 2014 to live with her son. She is survived by her husband Edward Cortez, Sr, four sons; Mamerto (Psyde) Cortez, Jr, Edward (Catherine) Cortez, Nehemias (Corazon) Cortez and Richard (Vilma) Cortez, one daughter Imelda Jovelyn ( Benigno) Ballesteros, one brother and twelve grandchildren. Funeral services were 11:00am Monday, June 26, 2017 at Warren Funeral Home with interment at Warren Cemetery
