Juanita Cintron

Juanita Cintron-Cartagena, age 92, passed away at Aurora Medical Center in Kenosha, WI on Tuesday, August 22, 2017. Juanita was born in Cayey, Puerto Rico on September 27, 1924. She is preceded in death by her parents, Julia Cartagena-Rios and Arcadio Cintron-Lebron.

Juanita adored and worshiped God. She was a gentle soul who never judged anyone and loved all unconditionally. She left Puerto Rico in 1953 but she always carried her homeland in her heart. Juanita served as a nurse, stenographer, and teacher's aide. After retiring in 1991 she enjoyed doing word search puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren.

Juanita is survived by one daughter, Ada L. Omar of Salem, WI; 3 grandchildren, Nadia C. Omar-Czesky, Nabil K. Omar, and Nader K. Omar; and 5 grandchildren from her son Oscar.

She was preceded in death by her brother Sergio Cintron and her son Oscar Gomez.
Services for Juanita will be on Saturday, August 26, 2017 beginning with a Visitation at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N Cemetery Road, Gurnee IL 60031 beginning at 1:00 until 4:00PM. Services will begin at 3:00PM at Warren Funeral Home with Rev. Jose C Arroyo presiding.
