Judy Shaide

Judy Shaide, 74, of Zion, passed away surrounded by her family on Monday, August 29, 2016 at Midwestern Regional Medical Center in Zion. She was born August 3, 1942 in Libertyville to James and Anita (Bentley) Jenkins. On March 13, 1966 in Waukegan, Judy married the love of her life, Jerry Shaide. Judy loved her grandchildren, animals, especially her dogs. She enjoyed bowling, being around people, and attending social events. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Jerry Shaide; five children, James Dowdal, Cathy Webb, Jerry (Jen) Shaide, Jr., Todd Shaide and Scott Shaide; twelve grandchildren, Tiffany Marie (Jason) Scherer, James Lee Dowdal, Jr., Amanda (Jesse) Kasten, Brittany Shaide, Jessica Shaide, Austin Ochsner, Collin Shaide, Tinley Shaide, Tyler Shaide, David Shaide, Christopher Shaide and Melissa Shaide; three great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Marie "Tukkie" Suydam and Floris Fogarty, and one brother, James "Butch" Jenkins. Visitation is Tuesday, September 6, 2016 from 11 am-1 pm at WARREN FUNERAL HOME, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee. Funeral services are Tuesday at 1 pm at the funeral home with Deacon Robert Ochsner officiating. Burial will follow at Pineview Cemetery, Beach Park.
