July 13, 1943 — November 11, 2014

Julius "Jerry" Cullen, 71, of Waukegan, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Vista Medical Center East surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was born on July 13, 1943 in Atlanta, Georgia. On June 6, 1987 in Waukegan, he married the love of his life, Nancy Ann Duley.

Jerry leaves behind his wife of 27 ½ years, children, son-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, in-laws, aunt, cousin, nephews, and many friends who loved and supported him (too many to note). He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters.

Jerry grew up in New York and later moved to Illinois. He was a United States Army Veteran who served two tours in Vietnam, earning a Bronze Star. He enjoyed watching Football with his son, Michael, while eating his daughter, Ashley Megan's famous pound cake. Jerry was a "BBQ Master," a Big Cowboys fan, and most of all, a best friend to his precious grandson, Nolan.

He has and will continue to serve through organ donation.
