Karyn Roberts

Karyn Lee Roberts, 70 of Grayslake, IL, passed peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on November 14, 2017. She was a Beautician for many years at Betty Gray's Beauty Salon in Waukegan and had also worked at Sally's Beauty Supply until her retirement. Karyn loved to quilt, cross stitch, garden and bake. Most of all she enjoyed being a Grandma and surrounding herself with family and friends. Karyn was also an active member of the Warren Township High School Class Reunion Committee of 1965. She was preceded in death by her Sister Barbara Hubert, her Parents: Norris Roberts and Nanette Cowgill and former Husband, David Schwalbach. Karyn is survived by her Daughters: Christine Stapleton of Beach Park, Laura (Jon) Stead of Lindenhurst and Elizabeth (Stephen) Garofalo of Mt. Pleasant, WI; Sisters: Marcia (Bruno "Bud") Kuhn of Wildwood and Patricia (David Danca) Chapman of Las Vegas, NV; Grandchildren: Caitlin, Justin, Brendon, Sara, Gabriel, Dominic and Carley. The Visitation will be on Monday, November 20, 2017 at Warren Funeral Home 1475 N. Cemetery Road Gurnee, IL 60031 from 8:30 am until the Service at 11:30 am. Interment will be private for the family. The Family is being assisted by Warren Funeral Home.
