Kurt Gutantes

Kurt Michael Gutantes, 47 of Antioch passed away suddenly at his home on Tuesday, July 28, 2020

He was born on August 10, 1972 to Michael and Linae (Skilling) Gutantes in Waukegan, IL.  He worked for Medline Industries for 29 years.  Kurt enjoyed fishing, biking, kayaking, camping, boating, the Forest Preserve, animals, especially dogs and loved being in nature.

Kurt is survived by his mother and step-father, Linae and Gary Jackson, his sister Joanne Gutantes, his aunts and uncles; Carol (Jack) Kruse, Marilyn (Rick) McCormick, Maryann (Dale) Cleaver, Cindy (Jerry) Haines, Dave (Betty) Gutantes, Tom (Deidre) Gutantes and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father Michael.

Visitation will be from 6:00-7:00 P.M. on Friday, August 7, 2020 at Warren Funeral Home and Cemetery located at 1475 N. Cemetery Rd. Gurnee, IL.  A memorial service will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Friday at the funeral home.  Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, there will be a maximum of 50 people allowed in the funeral home at a time. Chaplain Chuck Haley will officiate.

Inurnment will be at Ascension Catholic Cemetery in Libertyville.
