Lena Snowden

Lena P. Snowden, age 85, passed in to the arms of our Lord on July 5, 2025. She is survived by her beloved children Giselle (John) Jones, James (Tina) Snowden Jr., Mario (Cynthia) Snowden, Harlan (Phyllis) Snowden, Nathan Snowden, and Jamar Snowden; her brother Hannibal Pickens Jr.; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives, and friends who will miss her deeply.

She joins in Heaven her cherished husband of 57 years James Snowden Sr., her parents Hannibal Sr. and Cordelia Pickens, her siblings Frenchie Pickens, Zenobia Randolph, Vargie Reynolds, and Ruth Smith; and her darling grandson Jamar Carter Snowden.

Friends and family will meet for visitation on Friday, July 18, 2025 from 10:30AM-12:30PM at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N. Cemetery Road, Gurnee, IL. The funeral service will begin at 12:30PM followed by interment at Warren Cemetery.
