Leo P. Dussault Jr died suddenly at home on April 19, 2021 in Wadsworth, IL. He was born on April 22, 1948 to Leo Dussault Sr. and Audreaye (Hill) Dussault.

Leo served in the United States Marine Corp and did a tour of duty in Vietnam. He worked for many years in Civil Service in various departments and retired from Goodwill Industries at Great Lakes Naval Training Center in 2013 where he was a galley equipment repairman. He earned an Associate’s Degree in auto mechanics and loved repairing older cars. He possessed several antique autos over the years and delighted in making them not only look good but run well. Leo loved music and played guitar, both bass and acoustic, and recently bought a set of digital drums to improve his drumming skills. He also played a bit of piano and accordion. He was a history buff and loved to give anyone who would listen on-the-spot history lessons. He loved to travel in his younger years and thoroughly enjoyed taking his family on trips.

Leo is survived by his wife of 33 years, Sandy; one child, Christopher; 2 stepchildren, Tracy and Robert Brown; and 2 sisters, Annette Budzban and Lea (Joe) Weber. He has 5 step grandchildren; Ashley, Melissa, Troy, Reed and Shannon and 4 step great grandchildren; Kayleigh, Madi, Jayce and Jaxon. He also has numerous nieces and nephews, grandnieces and nephews, and great-grandnieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Judith Brinsko.

A celebration of life will be held in the future when safe to do so.
