Lidia Benkowski

Lidia (nee Cisneroz) Benkowski, 77, of Chicago, IL and later Sun City, AZ, passed away January 12, 2015 at Presence Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago. She was born in Dallas, Texas.

She is survived by her loving husband of many years, Raymond Benkowski; children, Dora Morales, Rose Morales and Duke Morales; stepson, Patrick Benkowski; stepdaughter, Christine (Greg) Silvestri; brothers, Phillip Cisneroz and Richard Cisneroz; sisters, Delfina Rodriguez, Betty Alvarez and Linda Zamora; 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Felipe and Vicenta (nee Morales) Cisneroz; 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Visitation is Saturday, January 24, 2015 from 2-4pm at WARREN FUNERAL HOME, 1475 N. Cemetery Rd., Gurnee. A memorial service will be at 4pm at the funeral home with Fr. James Merold officiating. Interment will be private.
