Lisa W. Christensen

Lisa W. Christensen, 89, of Gurnee, IL, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2025 at Gurnee Place Memory Care Community.

Lisa was born April 21, 1936, in Chicago, IL, to the late Paul and Erna (Krause) Wall.

Other survivors include her children, Mae Christensen of Gurnee and Ron Christensen of Gurnee; brother, John (Judy) Wall of Park Ridge; and grandchildren AJ of Chicago and Emily (Josh) Fuher of Waukesha, WI.

Lisa worked as an Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent of Northbrook Schools. Her happiest moments were when she was surrounded by fabric, but she wasn’t crafting up a quilt or sewing her heart away, she was excitedly cheering on the Chicago Blackhawks or Cubs. Her most cherished times were the moments spent with her family and friends.

Lisa was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Paul.

The family will be hosting a private get-together to celebrate her life and honor her memory.
