Loretta Dodson

Loretta Dodson, age 87, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2024. She is survived by her loving children William Pfeil (Judith), Teresa Pfeil-Mackey (Herbert), Wesley Pfeil (Terri), and Tina Pfeil-Kasper (Bill); her cherished grandchildren Hillary Pfeil-Anthony (Alex), Chad Mackey, Natasha Mackey-Solis (Ladislao), Natalie Pfeil-Joyner (Antonio), Suzanne Pfeil, and Heather Pfeil and 16 great-grandchildren; her dear siblings, Mary Sveon-Mason (Gary), Eugene Sveon (Barb), and her nephew, James Mason.

She is preceded in passing by her second husband, George Allan William Dodson III, who passed in December 2001; her dear great-grandchild Sebastian Lee Solis, who passed away on October 14, 2009; and her proud parents Viola Rice And Herbert Martin.

She adored her grandkids and was a wonderful grandmother and great-grandmother. As a neighborhood mom, she loved loading up all the kids in the car for exciting excursions filled with adventures. Growing up around horses ignited a lifelong love for them. She had a special bond with her dogs, a Schipperke named Peanuts and a Shiba Inu named Prince Charming. She was a devoted member of the Cross and Crown Church.

She had a passion for gardening and was very crafty, with a knack for sewing, crocheting, cooking, and baking.

She will be deeply missed by all who know and love her.
