Margaret gave birth to five children; her first child was still born.   As a military spouse, Margaret served on the Navy Wives committee and served as an advocate of civil rights and product availability such as haircare products to support the minority community who served in the Navy.  Margaret was married to Glen Boles for over 15 years before he met with the Lord.  Margaret has always loved and served the Lord.  She was the daughter of a Pentecostal preacher and followed the gospel.  In February 1984, after a traumatic experience, she rededicated her life and was baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit.  Later in life, she converted and served as a Jehovah's Witness. This is the religion she practiced and sincerely held when she died.  Margaret's hobbies included watercolor painting, she was an avid reader and was so excited to join the book club stared at Stoney Brook, she loved to talk to people, she volunteered to work at the various churches she held membership, staying active to serve the community, eager to serve and quietly share her wisdom.  She was such a positive inspiration to all who encountered her, she loved her jazz and gospel music.  She loved to entertain and host parties for family and friends.  Anyone who met Margaret couldn’t help but to love her.  Margaret’s love of the color red or burgundy was reflected in her fabulous church hats, nail and hair color, gemstones, and most notably, her love for red lipstick lives on…
